How deep is the hypnosis?

How deep will I go in hypnosis?
Will my analytical mind or overthinking get in the way of hypnosis?
What if I’ve had a hypnosis session before and felt like I got nothing from it?

These are very normal concerns, and I want you to know that you are not alone. Your openness, preparation before the session, setting your intentions, and most important of all - not having expectations, is the key to your success. I also help you energetically prepare for your session

What does “going deep” mean in QHHT® hypnosis?

Going deep doesn’t mean feeling drowsy or losing memory. Rather, it means tapping into deep levels of your Subconscious to uncover the wisdom, stories, and emotions linked to memories from this life, past lives, or even the future that your Higher Self knows are relevant for your growth. Think of your mind like a vast library and your Higher Self as the kind and wise librarian selecting just what you need.

Dolores Cannon’s gentle hypnosis technique guides you into the deep trance state, usually experienced just before falling asleep or just before waking.

Depth in this context doesn’t mean losing awareness or control. Rather, it means relaxing deeply, with the conscious mind and thoughts still on, with access to the deep subconscious mind

Will I stay in control during the session?

Yes. Even in deep hypnosis, you remain conscious and aware. You are gently guided into trance, but you decide how deep you want to go. Your Higher Self only brings forward what you can handle.

Can I Go “Too Deep” in hypnosis?

Another worry- Will I lose control during hypnosis? Will hypnosis make me forget what happened?

Here’s what Dolores Cannon’s QHHT® teachings assure us:

  • You are always conscious, aware, and in control. Even in deep trance, you retain control over your thoughts, actions, choices, or experience. Even though you might feel detached or absorbed in inner imagery or sensations, you may choose to let certain thoughts flow, to follow suggestions, or to stop a process if it’s uncomfortable.

  • You can decide to deepen the trance, come out of it, or steer it in different directions. You can allow yourself to go as deep as it feels safe and right for you, or stay lighter if that’s more comfortable.

What Can I Do to Prepare for hypnosis?

Because your experience depends strongly on how open you are, and how well-prepared, here are gentle tips to help you receive beautifully-

  • Reduce or avoid stimulants like coffee, tea, and alcohol before your session.

  • Set aside some quiet time before your hypnosis session to meditate, journal, breathe deeply

  • Bring your curiosity, excitement, and intention more than expectation. When you set expectations about how you will feel during hypnosis, you are more likely to interrupt the natural flow of the session and feel frustrated.

  • Trust that your Higher Self knows what you need, even if it isn’t what you asked for , want, or expected. Often what you need is more important than what you want.

  • Write down questions you’d like to ask your Higher Self.
